Surveyor
Survey Party Chief
Responsibilities include:
Performing boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction layouts.
Staking property lines, setting survey control points, and benchmarks.
Operation of the total station and data collection equipment.Daily uploading and downloading of data collector.
Daily care of survey instrument, equipment and vehicle.
Responsible for precision and accuracy of survey notes.
Work in a safe manner and obey all safety regulations.
Makes value judgments and assessments in accordance with sound land surveying principles and company procedures.
Performs the most technical duties with minimal supervision.
The physical demands described here include, but are not limited to:

Lifting minimum of 40 pounds
Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Traverse obstacles, creeks, fences, etc.
Use of hand tools including machetes, shovels, manhole hook, etc.
CAD Technician/Draftsman/Designer

Zarecki & Associates, LLC Engineering & Surveying is looking for mid level CAD Designers with a minimum of 2 years experience for full time work. MUST have high standards, incredible work ethic, have a team mentality, thrive in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment, and be willing to offer our clients unmatched customer service. Ideal CAD Designer (mid level) candidates will have 2-4 years experience in AUTOCAD. Idea candidates will be highly motivated, quick to learn, and be the right individual who is looking for a long term career with a company that is willing to invest in their success and. Prior drafting or design experience in the fields of civil engineering would be preferred. Job responsibilities included, but are not limited to:
  • Provide general CAD drafting support for licensed civil engineers and surveyors on staff.
  • Will work under the direction of a Project Manager, EIT or PE to produce construction drawings and civil engineering design.
  • Will also be assisting in the design of proposed infrastructure improvements to support residential and commercial development, i.e. the design of roadway, sewer, water, and storm drainage systems, as well as site grading design. Provide general support to staff members as needed.
  • Previous (3+ years minimum) AUTOCAD experience with high level of proficiency in any engineering or architectural discipline.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management as well as clients. Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
  • Strong problem solving skills. Ability to self-motivate and work productively without direct supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet client-imposed project deadlines.
  • Willingness to contribute as a team to address project needs.
  • May be required to perform administrative type duties as required; i.e., copying and collating plans and preparing/delivering submittals.
